The Timeless Art of Dance

Generations of young children and adults nurtured by the Chitrasena family in the “timeless art” of Sri Lankan dance has showcased the country’s traditional dance forms for a very long time perhaps, longer than the independent era of Sri Lanka. Teaching, performing and collaborating, the Chitrasena family continue to preserve a part of our rich cultural heritage for today and for tomorrow especially for the children of Sri Lanka.

The Sunshine Charity is proud to have the honour of welcoming one of Chitrasena’s & Vajira’s daughters to the preschool to conduct a dance workshop for our children, who cherished the inspiring experience.
